Exhibition “From blanks to Sensitivity”

In the present times, not only the air and water but technology can also be interpreted as being part of nature. This exhibition is an artistic attempt to rethink the natural environment in our
contemporary world. The exhibition’s primary focus is the pioneer Felix Hess, who, while studying physics through boomerangs and other subjects, had delineated the natural phenomenon through the use of technology from the early ‘80s. He is invited back to Japan for the first time in 20 years. Presented along Hess are Japanese artists from different generations whose works resonate with Hess’ ideas.

Archive consist of participated exhibition catalogues, released audio materials, and several works of artist owned information such as system/circuit diagram, structure sketch, concept text.
