A journey along the Tokaido Road revisiting the three cities in Aichi Prefecture where Akio Suzuki and Hiromi Miyakita once formed artistic connections. Their capacity to transform chance into opportunity, which can be said “Chance Operation”, connected three projects in three cities, resulting in a journey of sound and dance imbued with the spirit of Sha Butsu Sei Sei.

Invited by Scarecrow Contemporary Dance Company, Miyakita performed as a guest artist at the Tainan City Library as part of the Tainan Art Festival program.

Directed by Hideyuki Miyaoka, this documentary film was completed after five years of post-production, following the activities of Japanese sound art pioneer Akio Suzuki and artist Hiromi Miyakita from 2011 to 2018. It will be screened at Toyooka Theater.
