- NEWS—Suzuki Akio “i za na i 2025” JICHIN-ceremony, Tottori Prefectural Museum of Art (Kurayoshi, Tottori)
The outdoor area “Forest of Creation” on the west side of the museum, the museum plan to install three commissioned works, including the sculpture “i za na i 2025” by sound artist Suzuki Akio. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held in the form of a performance by Akio Suzuki and Miyakita Hiromi to pray for the safe start of construction ahead of the start of construction in January 2026. Anyone is welcome to attend, so please feel free to invite your friends and family.

Eiji Watanabe presents his installation work Garden of the appellation / Etoile Kaito Installation at Etoile Kaito Living Building 7th floor. At this location, sound artist Akio Suzuki and performer Hiromi Miyakita will perform a collaboration with this Installation. A journey along the Tokaido Road revisiting the three cities in Aichi Prefecture where Akio Suzuki and Hiromi Miyakita once formed artistic connections. Their capacity to transform chance into opportunity, which can be said “Chance Operation”, connected three projects in three cities, resulting in a journey of sound and dance imbued with the spirit of Sha Butsu Sei Sei.
